On October 4, 2009, 4 & half year old Callie Swintosy, of Newville, suffered
three debilitating strokes due to severe swelling of the brain from an unkown
virus. After spending 8 weeks in Hershey's Children's Hospital she came home to
be with her family
.
The strokes took Callie's vision, speech, processing abilities and so much more.
She has made remarkable progress in her journey of healing but has a long road ahead of her.
Callie's Cause is a foundation dedicated to helping Callie & other families
with similar tradgedies who may need finacial support or funds to get thier loved one life changing
medical care & support not paid for by insurance.
On April 30th, 2011 an all day concert event titled "Rockin The Valley For Callie" will take place
at the Shippensburg Area Fairgrounds in support of Callie's Cause. If you would
